Brand Identity: Art Exhibitions

On display.

Identity designs for temporary art exhibitions on view at the Blanton Museum of Art from 2019–2022. All major exhibitions get their own unique brand identities that are played out in the galleries and translated to print and digital ads, rack cards, billboards, exhibition trailers and other videos, public programs and their promotion, social media, and merchandise.

Process: Identity development would start with imagery of the artwork and curatorial interpretation, then design research and sketching. Logotypes and color palettes would go through rounds of review and revision with the curatorial, collections, installation, and marketing teams as well as the museum director. Once finalized, I would share logotype, assets, color palettes, textures, and design guidance with the exhibition designer, media producer, social media manager, etc.
